Born in Johannesburg in 1947, Anton Gericke embarked on an artistic journey that started with his first oil painting at the age of six. While traveling extensively with his parents in the hotel trade, he developed a unique talent that quickly gained recognition. 

Educated in Port Elizabeth and later studying pharmacy in Potchefstroom, Anton’s passion for art was enriched by courses at Technicon (P.E.) and mentorship from renowned South African artists like Errol Boyley and Isabel le Roux. 

With over 70 years of creativity, Anton has crafted a distinctive style that captures the essence of his extensive experience and artistic influences.
